Men’s Mental is a non-profit organization striving to break down the barriers & stigmas surrounding the MENtal health of athletes & ALL of our survivors around the world. Throughout a male’s life, we are commonly told, “men don’t cry,” or forced into these predetermined notions of men being unable to show pain or weakness. These predispositions have ultimately culminated into a habit of suppressing our emotions or being afraid to speak up or seek help when we truly need it.
At Men’s Mental, we work tirelessly to break the stigmas in our current society, but it starts with each one of our own personal lives to truly make a difference. We are continuously creating safe spaces within our own platforms, but to continue the #MENtalHealthMovement further, we must expand these conversations into our own homes & locker rooms where ALL of our teammates, friends & family can be open, honest, vulnerable, & comfortable speaking about the internal battles we face.
We are 1COMMUNITY no matter your gender, race, ethnicity, sexuality, athletic ability, financial status, or past background and we are striving for 1GOAL. On & off the floor, field, court, pool, ice, or track, we aim for ALL our survivors to be seen, heard, recognized, and acknowledged in their personal battles because you will NEVER go through them alone.
BE STRONG. STAY STRONG.
Teddy created MEN'S MENTAL as a class project while attending Babson College. After the COVID-19 pandemic, our founder and CEO took this idea a step further and created a non-profit organization for the MENtal Health of athletes such as himself. As an collegiate-athlete battling with depression and anxiety, Teddy set out to ensure that no one ever felt alone in their struggles again...
