LUKE WITTE
"At the age of 14, my father passed away. I grew up in a house where I had no way to disassociate with trauma. This trauma drove me to work out constantly, but MENtally I began to fall farther and farther down a dark path. Nothing was enjoyable for me. Everything made me irritated. The biggest obstacle for me to overcome was channeling this other side of me... this angry/fed up with life kid. I eventually found that I was able to escape my MENtal slavery in the gym. In high-school, I lived in the weight room. It was the only way I could cope with life’s obstacles. Being a university athlete, the resources on campus have benefitted me, and I think some key friends I have had are some of the reasons I am still here today."
