“There are a lot of people out there in the world today that choose to go through dramatic and life-changing things, alone, due to the fact that they don’t want to speak up about their MENtal Health and how they are feeling.  I can be the first to say that it’s better to speak up because in the long run bottling your emotions and feelings isn’t gonna do anything but make things worse. There wasn’t nothing better than being able to express my feelings on how I really felt.
MENtal Health is disregarded all around the world when it’s all said and done exactly as boys growing into men. We are taught to be tough and never show our emotions at a very young age and that causes us down the line to always act like where okay even when we are not.
MENtal Health is very serious and I can tell you first hand, I was dealing with depression when I was in my senior year of high school. I feared I couldn’t continue my football career through the collegiate level due to my grades. I would beat myself up everyday thinking that I was a failure and wasn’t smart enough for school and that would cause me to distance myself from people and I wouldn’t talk for days.”
